Downtown Los Angeles - Fashion District
CTRL Collective DTLA is at the intersection of the fashion district and Gallery Row. The Fashion District is known globally as a hub for trend-setting designs. It is the largest apparel hub on the West Coast, and hosts over 1,500 showrooms. The Gallery Row District, located only blocks away, contains a large number of theaters, museums, and public art installations. Our location is situated at the end of the monthly DTLA Art Walk, which draws thousands of people from all over the city.
A 5 story brick building located just above Verve Coffee on Spring Street, between 8th & 9th. Originally the Los Angeles City Club in the 1920's, the building at one point had 2500 members of various professions and business interests from the surrounding community.
In the space, elegant European-style furnishings, complete with tufted suede sofas, stainless-steel trunk coffee tables, and industrial metal & wood conference tables bask in abundant natural light beaming in through an impressive 587 sq ft skylight and four 165 sq ft paned high-arched windows. Vintage birdcage chandeliers warm the space down from its concrete floor tiles all the way up the towering 15-foot bookshelf adorned with fashion and photography books. With previous lives as both a ballroom and a dancehall, CTRL Collective Downtown LA continues to host the most epic events and people.
