Playa Vista is the apex of the L.A. start-up and tech scene. In Playa Vista it's possible to work where you live, live where you work, and in your off-time catch a movie or hang out at the park. Our neighbors include Tom’s and numerous ad agencies, and is blocks away from YouTube, Belkin, ICANN, Facebook, IMAX, and (eventually) Yahoo & Google. Approximately a 7-minute drive from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), CTRL Collective Playa Vista is also positioned with immediate access to vital Los Angeles arteries: the San Diego Freeway (I-405), the Marina Freeway (Highway 90) and Lincoln Boulevard (Highway 1).
12575 Beatrice St. was originally built in 1969 and served as William Keck’s personal office space. The 26,000 square foot building sits on two acres of land; it also has an additional 6,000 square feet of covered outdoor space, and a 2,000 square foot garage, which has been converted into an art studio, makerspace, and green room.
CTRL Collective Playa Vista has a timeless design with cascading natural light. The talent and creativity in this location ranges from virtual reality, commercial video production, software development and even our on-site multi-medium artist, Tyler Ramsey. Amenities include meeting rooms, phone booths, games rooms, virtual reality studios, a creation lab and more.
